Maintenance Electrician

- Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with Baiada’s standards and systems
- Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, and other supervisors and leading hands
- Carrying out maintenance work in line with Baiada's operational and compliance requirements
Proactive, trade-qualified professional with a hands-on approach and strong teamwork ethic. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A trade qualification as an Electrician (required) along with experience working in a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the intensive food processing industry
- Strong decision-making skills, particularly under pressure
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A desire for long-term career development
- Full Australian working rights (citizenship or permanent residency)
- $47.10 per hour + weekend penalties & allowances
- 12 hour shifts - 4 days on 4 days off
- Opportunity for permanency following successful probation
