About our role:Reporting to the Production Coordinator, based in our Jindivick (Vic 3818) Plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a team that can bring a diverse range of skills to the table, from crafting and creating through to caring for our cheese products. During our peak season from October to January, there’s ample overtime opportunities available for those looking to bolster their earnings before Christmas!We are now seeking a pro-active Production Operators/Cheesemakers (Fixed Day/Afternoon Shifts) who are ready to make a positive impact to our Jindivick (Victoria 3818) team. The position is full-time.Responsibilities include:

Performs duties of manual nature. Fresh ingredient preparation, mixing, general cleaning. Cheese making.
Plan and organise own work tasks, sorting out priorities and monitoring own performance.
Meet scheduling outcomes. Identify and report issues affecting work outcomes.
Maintain health and safety work area for self and others.
Follow quality control procedures. Inspect quality of work on an ongoing basis and accept responsibility for quality of their own work.
Maintain food safety and GMP standards.
Operation of supplied equipment.

About you:

Have experience in food manufacturing industry, specifically in production area.
Desirable experience in dairy products.
Good communication skills.
Have flexibility for working in rotating Monday to Sunday roster and for overtime.
Physically fit for labour-intensive hands-on work.
Hygiene standards knowledge and experience.
