This well-known brand retail business requires a business-critical 3rd level Engineering Support role will be within the ICT Infrastructure Engineering team. Supporting over 10000 employees across APAC including NZ, China, Indonesia and China.Career progression opportunity to grow and move internally to a Cloud Engineer, Network Engineer Cyber Security Engineer, Business Analyst or Project management, Architect position.Working within Azure Cloud and Office 365, Cybersecurity, Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Storage, Virtualization and Networking environment.This Australian HQ l business team requires Engineering support will be within ICT application and data centre, database support. This is an Australia wide Engineering team you will be able to adapt, and handle based on prioritisation. Filling this role is critical to maintaining application service levels to the key business for IT issues. This is a 3rd level support too working within Azure, Cybersecurity, Windows with Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Storage, Virtualization and Networking environment.
Ideally you will have experience:
- Working and maintaining systems including Azure Cloud
- O365 Service administration and Project work
- Cloud & SaaS Offerings (HA experience preferred) - Cloud migration project experience is a huge plus
- CyberArk and Security management
- Virtualisation (VMware) implementation and project work
- Operating Systems SOE (Android, IOS, Windows)
- Storage (Administration, Replication & Management)
- Identity (Active Directory and Okta)
- Microsoft Exchange
- Company wide roll out of Meraki SDWAN
- System Audit creation (i.e., Backup adherence, Security Logs, SOE Compliance….)
- Corresponding knowledge of Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Storage, Virtualization and Networking
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud management
- Firewall and unified communications experience is an advantage
- Process experience with ITIL processes, in particular with change management, problem management and availability management
- Certification from out of the areas Server (e.g. Microsoft MCSA certification) or Virtualization (e.g. VMWare VCP-DCV) is desirable not essential.
- A sound basic training in the area of networking is necessary,
- proactive monitoring of services and their underlying infrastructure with IT monitoring systems
- implementation of changes in the context of change management
- monitoring jobs and backups, monitoring and performing patching activities
- Analysis and correction of occurring disruptions or underlying problems in the global infrastructure and applications in the context of Incident Management / Problem Management.
