
Senior Project Coordinator

- Proven experience in Building works and managing subcontractors on commercial projects
- Ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks
- Sound knowledge of safety and quality control requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with teams, clients, and subcontractors
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Tertiary or Certificate-level qualification in Construction, or equivalent experience
- Act as the Package Manager for assigned building work packages, overseeing all stages from procurement to delivery
- Assist in procurement activities including scope creation, quote management, and subcontractor vetting
- Maintain detailed knowledge of drawings, scopes, briefs, and project requirements
- Assist project leadership with planning, scheduling, and tracking site activities
- Monitor progress against project timelines and address any delays proactively
- Prepare and provide timely progress reports and maintain accurate site records
- Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and schedule obligations
- Engage with consultants and subcontractors to manage RFIs, shop drawings, inspections, defects, and NCRs
- Support quality control processes including ITPs, defect management
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate collaboration between all project parties
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism in line with the DCOH Code of Conduct
