Senior Legal Counsel – Contract Opportunity

- Lead high-value, large-scale commercial legal matters
- Exposure across networks, IT, procurement and infrastructure portfolios
- Sydney Based | 12-month contract
- Prepare, negotiate and review large-scale commercial contracts, including IT system integration, network services, technology infrastructure and hardware agreements.
- Manage complex procurement matters and advise on privacy, data protection and regulatory obligations.
- Provide strategic legal advice on commercial risk, governance and compliance across multiple portfolios.
- Partner with senior executives and stakeholders on major transactions and organisational priorities.
- Contribute to the wider legal team and support senior leadership on critical matters.
- Assist in managing non-material litigation and claims involving customers, suppliers and regulators.
- Law degree with current Australian practising certificate.
- Extensive post-admission experience in commercial, infrastructure procurement, technology/telecommunications, and privacy/data protection law.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in large-scale transactions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with credibility at executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a senior team.
