We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking catering attendant to join our client's industrial catering team located in Canberra’s eastern suburbs working 4-hour shifts approximately 5 days a week with some overtime required.Your role will involve the preparation and plating of meals, make up of equipment and general packing duties, all in a safe manner to client standards and specifications. This role offers onsite parking, full uniform and a meal provided in a clean and inclusive working environment.Duties will include:
- Sorting and packing of catering equipment
- Fast paced food preparation tasks
- Repetitive manual handling
- General cleaningTo be successful for this opportunity you will ideally have:
- Recent and relevant experience in food manufacturing environments
- Proven understanding of food hygiene practices and quality activity.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to pass a full medical and national police clearance.
- Flexibility to work day and afternoon shifts, across a 7-day roster.
- Reliable car and license
- Full working rights and availability
- Proven reliability and work ethic
