Our client is a 22-year-old male living in the Eastern suburbs who needs support from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. He responds well to predictable routines and regular and consistent staff, so staff members who are willing to make long-term commitments to his support would be highly regarded.There are 2 permanent part-time or casual positions available.What we offer:

- Strong ability to work collaboratively with others to ensure a consistent approach to enable clients to reach their goals.
- Experience in working with behaviours of concern and implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies and plans.
- Knowledge of the autism spectrum and effective strategies for support.
- Experience supporting clients in their homes and the community
- Experience supporting young people to develop independent living skills
- Familiarity with Active Support principles Experience or knowledge of alternative communication methods
- A minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability or similar equivalent qualification
- Candidates who speak Spanish are highly encouraged to apply
- National Police Clearance within the last 3 months
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and DHS Working with Children Check
- Availability to work from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
- Full Australian Drivers Licence
- Completion of NDIS worker orientation module
- First Aid and CPR training
- Child Safe Environment training
- Assist with Medication training
