About the BusinessWith a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol, and sustainable agricultural products.To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol to the growing fuel market in Australia.Job VacancyWe are seeking a dedicated individual to be an integral part of our raw sugar factory in Ayr. As Operations Superintendent, you will provide technical and operational advice to our frontline teams, ensuring the seamless operation of our processes.Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on operations, leading process improvement initiatives, management of the shift operating teams, offering planning and leadership support, and conducting root cause analysis for production-related challenges. This role demands a proactive mindset, the capacity to work under pressure, and a commitment to continuous learning, skill development, and knowledge sharing.Something about youTo excel in this role, you must hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering field or have substantial experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software will be highly regarded.
