About the role:
The Senior Cardiothoracics/Cardiopulmonary Transplant Physiotherapist position is an essential position. The position provides specialist physiotherapy management to our Cardiothoracic and Heart-Lung Transplant cohort across inpatient and ambulatory care areas. The position also works within the Heart-Lung Transplant Team providing physiotherapy expertise across the spectrum of the patient journey.The successful candidate will be a highly experienced and enthusiastic Cardiothoracic physiotherapist with a passion for providing high quality care and working within a dynamic team.Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent's:

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and current Australian Physiotherapy Registration
3.Experienced Clinician possessing specialist knowledge and extensive experience in the areas of Cardiothoracic Physiotherapy including the following areas: Cardiothoracic and Cardiopulmonary Transplant Surgery, Cardiology, Thoracic Medicine, Intensive Care, Cardiothoracic Intensive Care and Cardiothoracic Ambulatory Care including Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Transplant Rehabilitation (desirable)
4. Experience in clinical management, particular in regards to the provision of services to client groups and in circumstance so f a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills. This includes the ability to apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks specific to Cardiothoracics
5. Experience in the coordination and provision of clinical supervision to physiotherapists
6.Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and implement clinical services
