We have forged a dominant industry presence in a very short period of time through our consultative approach to recruitment, and transparent approach to client and candidate management.CrewSELECT require a DIDO/FIFO Water Treatment Service Technician to work on Chlorine Gas and Water Treatment infrastructure across VIC.Job Overview:

Carry out service, repair, maintenance, and installation on water treatment and chemical dosing infrastructure.
Assess and repair/service equipment returned from the field in workshop.
Instrumentation works.
Maintain up to date customer records.
Perform general duties of carrying out both electrical and mechanical work.
Working on sites including Watercorp, BHP, Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Chevron and many more.
Blend of local, regional, and mine site work.

Starting average package of approx. $145k per annum (Base + Super + Car + OT + Allowances)

Salary: $80k to $100k base + full overtime penalties + super.

About you:

Experience working with chlorine gas facilities and/or water treatment facilities is beneficial.
Proven experience working as a service and maintenance on machinery and plant environments.
Prior experience working with electrical and mechanical components.
Basic fabrication skills would be beneficial.
Ability to use initiative and problem solve.
Be a self motivated person who has a high standard for quality.
Motivated, positive, can-do attitude.
Flexible attitude and willingness to travel as required.
Attention to details “A perfectionist”.
Able to read and interpret details drawings / plans.
Able to work in a team or on their own when required.
Happy to be on an on-call roster.

Tickets and qualifications required:

Mechanical fitter or Electrician trade certificate.
Construction card.
Drivers license.
Police clearance within 12 months.
Instrumentation certification - highly regarded but not essential.
