You will be part of a team that designs and implements OT network solutions to meet specific customer needs. Working on Critical Infrastructure projects you will focus strongly on the Security of Critical Infrastructure. Your existing passion for Cyber Security will drive you to become a specialist in OT Cyber Security and work with the team to deliver solutions that comply with all regulations relevant to the Security of Critical Infrastructure.
  • Using conceptual design from sales or requirements specification from customer to create detailed design documentation and bill of materials
  • Procurement and configuration of equipment according to design
  • Manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to demonstrate that delivered solution meet requirements of contract
  • Onsite installation, commissioning and testing of designed solutions
  • Deployment of partner technology such as Tenable OT Security, Darktrace & Hexagon Cyber Integrity
  • Troubleshooting and rectification of complex OT network and Cyber security solutions.
  • Assessment of existing OT networks and identification of risks and recommendations of risk reduction measures
  • Perform cybersecurity gap assessments to ensure new designs as well as legacy solutions comply with Regulations and frameworks such as: AESCSF, SOCI, IEC62443, Essential Eight
  • Tendering support to provide guidance on equipment required to meet a specification along with estimation of quantities and engineering efforts
To be successful in this role you will be experienced with and have the following abilities:
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including: TCP/IP Networking and Subnetting, VLAN's & VLAN Trunks, Switching & Routing, ACL's, NAT, PAT, etc
  • Firewall selection and configuration
  • Network segregation and hardening
  • Redundant and fault tolerant network design
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows & Windows Server and Linux-based operating systems including deployment and troubleshooting of production systems
  • Experience with vulnerability management and prioritisation of remediation in production systems
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical/ICT Engineering or similar
  • 3 - 5 years' experience working in design and/or support of complex OT networks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently. You will be measured on out comes you deliver not by how hard or how long you work
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills. This is a customer facing role and you will need to be able to converse effectively at various levels of an organization
  • You will be required to write technical reports and documentation in a clear and efficient manner
  • Be prepared to travel domestically & internationally often at short notice. On occasions this can be up to 3 weeks in one trip
  • Must have and maintain a full Australian driver's license
  • The role is based out of our Macquarie Park offices, Sydney
Not essential but highly regarded.
  • Experience in Large industry such as Power Generation, Mining, Water & Wastewater or Manufacturing
  • Previous experience in customer facing roles
  • Certifications with vendors in the IT/Networking/Cyber Security space e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Tenable
  • Certification, or working towards Certification in GICSP, CISSP IEC62443 or similar
  • Familiarization with standards & frameworks such as AESCSF, SOCI, IEC62443
