The Role
The position will provide electrical manufacturing and technical services essential to the completion of the project. The role primarily be hands-on technician and assembly work with a secondary focus on laboratory maintenance, documentation and technical procurement. Duties will include:
  • Wiring on control panels, sensors, actuators and other control equipment according to prepared designs and diagrams including soldering to surface mounts
  • Some mechanical work
  • Participate in design reviews and in project planning sessions
  • Produce and maintain documentation on electronic equipment
  • Sourcing of technical equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organised electronics laboratory
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in an electronic assembly or electronic repair role
  • Strong switchboard and panel building experience
  • Cable assembly experience including soldering and crimped connectors
  • Some mechanical experience
  • This role will require a baseline security clearance meaning you will need to be an Australian Citizen with at least 10 years experience in Australia.
