We're looking for a Collections Officer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll take ownership of your debtor portfolio, ensuring accounts are managed effectively and payments are received on time, while always delivering excellent customer service.Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and monitoring overdue accounts
- Negotiating payment terms and arrangements
- Account reconciliations and payment allocations
- Preparing monthly reports with insights on overdue accounts
- Working closely with branch teams and customers to resolve queries
- You are highly motivated, a strong team player and understand the importance of excellence in customer service especially in debt collection.
- Previous experience in the Collections field 3+ years
- Superior negotiation and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced complex environment
- Clear ability to escalate decisively, clearly and with confidence
