- Compile, review and analyse forecast information and reports.
- Interpret operating results and make recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.
- Build strong relationships with senior managers through positive, proactive and professional communication.
- Control the finance and accounting methods, practices, and procedures of projects and/or the organisation
- Prepare appropriate financial assessment, accounting records, reports and other information
- Audit the procurement process and ensure that all requisitions and related invoices are authorised by the nominated person.
- Interpret operating results as they affect the financial position of the project/corporation and make recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.
- Compile and review monthly project reports and KPI's.
- Prepare schedules for financial reporting in accordance with management and statutory requirements.
- Review and analyse operating results in relation to cost, budgets and operating policies. Consolidate capital asset, maintenance and operating budgets.
- 1-3 years experience as a Cost Controller ideally with previous project experience.
- Advanced skills with MS Office Suite, Excel in particular.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders.
