Salary: $45 - $55 an hourOur client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join their team on day shift. This is a hands-on role working with a close-knit crew, machining precision parts used in tooling, jigs, and fixtures. You'll be based in a well-equipped workshop and work on a range of parts that support manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, this role suits someone who enjoys a mix of CNC programming, setup, and machining - with a focus on quality and safety.What You'll Be Doing
- Programming CNC machines using CAM software
- Setting up and operating machines
- Machining high-precision components from start to finish
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and checks
- Following all safety and quality procedures - safety is a big deal to us
- Background as a CNC machinist or toolmaker
- Experience with CAM programming
- Confident reading detailed mechanical drawings
- Able to use manual machines (mills, lathes) and power tools when needed
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage your time and tasks
- Regular day shift: early finish on Fridays
