This role reports to the acting HR Manager, and will suit someone who is confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to balance day-to-day HR activities with building strong, trusted relationships on site.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on HR advice and support to managers and employees across the workforce
- Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning matters
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards are applied consistently
- Support employee engagement and drive positive workplace culture in a complex operational environment
- Manage and resolve workplace issues with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Proven experience as a senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager, ideally within mining, resources, construction, or other large operational workforces
- Strong employee relations experience with a practical and commercial approach
- Ability to communicate confidently and influence at all levels
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment
- Available to commence at short notice for a 3-month contract
- Comfortable with travel to Mudgee each week - accommodation onsite provided
