Our proven project teams readily address complex and multi-disciplinary activities, providing low-risk and cost-effective solutions to the defence force.Learn more about our business .The Opportunity:Reporting to the Deputy Director Maritime Assurance Program, the Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) Support Team are accountable for providing ongoing data analysis support within client enterprises as directed. The NLIS support staff provide ongoing advice & support on NLIS for Directorate of Maritime Engineering and Logistics (DMEL) customers, users and stakeholders.Responsibilities:The NLIS Support Team provide services including but not limited to:Support DMEL with their management of products and level one service support for existing and new enterprises.Assist with the development and manage the Maintenance Management Portal.The provision of data analysis services to support Enterprise NLIS adoption and improvement.Onboarding processes and services, including ICT, business & data elements.Specific tasks and activities to be undertaken include:Utilise analysis methods and tools to develop solution concepts for identified data misalignments and apply appropriate solution concepts for each misalignment.Liaise with client enterprises as required to seek clarification or provide guidance on identified misalignments and related supporting information.Ensure solutions are developed with appropriate OQE for review and the target client enterprise.Within each client enterprise perform data alignment re-work, if/as required, leading up to and after the set to work adaptors/interfaces; andProvide data analysis surge support to in-scope enterprises as directed.As the ideal candidate you will bring:
  • Degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or other relevant specialisation, and 5 years’ experience in similar field.
  • Advanced level SQL, MS Applications, Teamcenter Unified, Database concepts and design.
  • Security Clearance – NV1
  • Experience in a Defence network environment is highly regarded
