
Senior Mental Health Clinician | Community Acute Intervention Service Outreach Team

- Multiple Permanent Full time positions available | 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO
- Undertake assessments rated by Triage as Category B (CAT B) or Category C (CAT C) for 12-65 age range
- Provide brief intervention to consumers requiring tertiary mental health treatment for up to a maximum of 28 days where consumers are in an acute phase of their illness, are not otherwise engaged with community mental health services and are aged 16-65
- Provide ED post follow up phone calls to consumers who have left the ED after assessment and are not referred to other tertiary mental health services
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist
- Must have experience in acute mental health and AOD assessment and treatment
- Be able to demonstrate advanced level of clinical skills the assessment and treatment of people with acute mental health and substance use disorders in a community setting
