About this opportunity:Our Calliope store in Central Queensland is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and lead the store's Fruit & Veg department.Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

Fresh food retail knowledge is desired
Ability to lead and manage a team
Ability to order and control costs
Accurate team rostering
Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
Unparalleled commitment to customer service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with both team members and management
A flair for merchandising
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
