They are looking for a Service Technician/Fitter to join them in the Tamworth region.About the roleInitial 12 month contract with possibility of extension, including access to other opportunities within the company.You will be mechanically minded, a great communicator and pride yourself on your safety and professionalism. In this role you will attend site/farm visits as well as undertake work in the warehouse.What's on offer

Key Responsibilities

Quality checking of incoming shipments of components
Pre Delivery/assembly/commissioning/testing of products - mechanical/pneumatics & electrical
Rectification of damaged products (cutting/welding of components)
Warehouse duties including loading/unloading and picking of incoming/outgoing inventory
Small scale fabrication of products (stockyard panels/gates/tubular stockyard components)
Repairs and Services on client equipment at the yard as well as on site
Repairs and Maintenance of equipment on site & at the yard
Supporting Field Day site setups - including installations and commissioning of products, tents, promotional structures, packing up and return of components the yard
Offsite Field Service visits to clients - including inspection, fault finding, part replacement, servicing and re-commissioning
Responsible for regular stock-take of all tools, servicing equipment and spare parts

Ideal Candidate

Experience in a similar role
Excellent communicator - you will be connecting with Clients
Ability to work autonomously
Proactive and a solutions finder!
Welding experience desirable
Forklift license desirable
