What's the role?As a Video Editor at Visual Domain, your job is to bring footage to life by crafting compelling stories that reflect our clients’ visions. Working closely with producers and under the guidance of the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for editing, colour grading, sound mixing, and incorporating motion graphics.This role calls for creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail. You’ll work with a variety of elements including footage from our crew, music, sound effects, stock footage, and graphics. You’re encouraged to bring fresh, innovative ideas to each project and contribute creatively from the outset.Your work plays a key role in delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for clients and continuing to strengthen our partnerships. Time management, communication, and a drive to continuously improve are essential for success in this role.ResponsibilitiesEditing and post-production (colour, sound, graphics) under producer directionIncorporating a wide range of creative assetsSuggesting fresh ideas to keep edits engagingApplying feedback to your own and others’ workManaging timelines and communicating proactivelySeeking feedback to grow and improveWho are you?Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After EffectsProficient in sound mixing and color grading in Premiere, with experience of DaVinci Resolve being a plusStrong time management and organisational skillsHigh attention to detail with a keen eye for visual storytellingProactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical issuesCreative thinker who brings fresh ideas to each editTeam player who can also work autonomouslyGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and upskillingShowreel demonstrating editing capabilities is essentialNews BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
