Randstad is proud to partner with a leading rail systems contractor who is responsible for delivering the rail systems packages on a major Sydney Metro project.They are looking for a Senior Project Engineer based in South West Sydney along the alignment for the new Western Sydney Airport metro project. Site locations are Orchard Hills, Luddenham, Bradfield and St Mary's and Site Engineers will be based at various site locations along the alignment.Key requirements of the role is to:
  • Manage the construction interface and handover from civil to rail systems.
  • Oversee the delivery of the rail systems subcontractor.
  • Manage ITP's
  • Lead documentation in readiness for work packs and support the Construction Interface Manager with the four week lookahead.
  • Provide technical insight to ensure installation and commissioning is realised within schedule and to budget.
  • Manage key interfaces, subcontractor, client and the civil infrastructure contractor to ensure access and the project is meeting key milestones in relation to safety, cost and quality.
Suitable candidates should have:
  • A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • 6 years minimum experience in delivering rail systems packages for a contracting organisation
  • Experience with ITP's and defect management.
