- Financial Management & Strategic Leadership – Manage all financial controls, including budgeting, payroll, asset management, fee collection, statutory returns, cash flow and investments, Lead long-term financial planning, develop strategies and monitor cash flow. Provide strategic financial advice and manage projects.
- Team Leadership & HR – Lead all non-teaching team members (Accounts, Admin, IT, Canteen, Camp Site, Library and Maintenance). Manage staff performance, development and HR compliance.
- Property & Facilities – Oversee capital works planning and construction, manage school maintenance and coordinate external contractors. General knowledge of property management is valuable, given upcoming projects such as a new secondary wing and potential new campus.
- Risk & Compliance – Oversee risk management processes and ensure adherence to relevant legislation.
- Company Secretary – Provide secretarial assistant to the School Board, attending Board meetings, accurately recording minutes and advising on governance.
- A personal commitment to promoting the ethos and values of Christianity (practising Christian is essential). A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or similar.
- Current membership of CPA or CA is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and leadership at a senior level, with a proven capacity to manage and lead teams.
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous, but not essential if competencies in other areas are strong. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Outstanding organisation, high attention to detail, ability to prioritise and excellent time management skills.
- Professional demeanour demonstrating a “can-do” attitude and enthusiasm for the work involved in the role.
- A humble attitude prepared to work collaboratively behind the scenes for the greater good of the school, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A high level of computer literacy using Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Make sound decisions aligned with Christian values while ensuring compliance with all legal expectations and education framework.
- Uphold and exemplify the organisation’s values and behaviours.
