To prepare customs clearance declarations for submission to customs in compliance with the national regulatory provisions and in adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
Accurately classify & value import and export products for customs clearance
Accurately update systems databases with appropriate information
Ensure shipments are cleared within specified timeframes in line with approved Key Performance Indicators
Liaise professionally and cordially with customers both internal and external
Respond to all queries in a timely manner as defined by standard operational procedure
Complete designated training within specified timeframes
Assist with transport operations, booking deliveries, billings and Accounting.
In addition to this, to perform tasks as requested, including, but not exclusive to, assisting in general Brokerage operations.
Responsible for all aspects of the job to the Brokerage Manager.

Qualifications

Australian Customs Brokers License, or within 12 months of application.
Knowledge of Government Regulations
Standard Operational Procedures for Customs Import Operations.
ICS and Third Party Systems
Good geographical knowledge
Accounting knowledge
International freight shipping terms
Possess elements of Expeditors Attributes and Culture
Embrace Expeditors Mission statement
General Mathematical knowledge, including but not exclusive to, dealing with Exchange Rates, Foreign Currency and General Ledger
Complete understanding of the movement of Goods
Road Transport Operational knowledge
