- Lead direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide strategic tax and transfer pricing advice to business leaders
- Guide transaction structuring, contractual tax matters, and invoicing
- Oversee tax accounting and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance
- Maintain tax policies and ensure jurisdictional compliance
- Lead tax audits and manage regulatory communications
- Monitor and mitigate tax risks across entities
- Develop and deliver tax training to key stakeholders
- Stay ahead of tax law changes and advise on business impact
- Support cross-border projects and complex transactions
- Advise finance leadership and contribute to board reporting
- Engage with external parties to negotiate tax matters
- Degree-qualified and CA/CPA, with professional memberships such as the Tax Institute, AICD, or Governance Institute.
- Strong technical Australian tax knowledge and leadership experience; ideally a 50/50 balance.
- Background in a large corporate or multinational (or Head of Tax role in a sizeable business) with strong commercial acumen.
- Strategic mindset and an ability to visualise how Tax affects the entire business with an ability to articulate this to different levels of the organisation.
- Outstanding communication; written and verbal.
