Where Talent Meets OpportunityAs a Process Operator (Boiler Operator) at Wilmar Sugar and Renewables, you'll be responsible for operating the super-heated boilers, turbine generators, ash handling systems and bagasse system.This position is based at Kalamia Mill in North Queensland's Burdekin region, known for its stunning landscapes, rich agricultural heritage, and a vibrant community. The Burdekin region offers a fantastic lifestyle with a warm climate, beautiful beaches and a range of recreational activities, making it a great place to live and work.During the crushing, this position operates on a continuous rotating shift roster, which may include weekends and occasional overtime. Once the crushing is complete and the Mill enters the maintenance period, the role switches to a day shift schedule with RDOs most Fridays.Your Role in Action

Smooth Operator: Operate and monitor boiler station to ensure sufficient levels of steam are driving the alternators which generate power for factory operations and external demands.
Clear & Concise: Provide regular and accurate feedback to Mill management on station performance.
Ready, Set, Competent: Willing and able to achieve relevant sugar milling module competencies.
Collaboration Crew: Assist with the professional development of boiler assistants.
Safety Guardian: Show a strong commitment to safety.

Your Winning CombinationOur ideal candidate must have a High Risk Work Licence for Turbine Operator (TO) and Advanced Boiler Operator (BA).
