Lead the delivery of the organisation’s Tourism Strategy and Trails Master Plan .
Drive innovative tourism projects and place-based experiences that reflect the character and aspirations of the region.
Build strong relationships with community members, tourism operators, local businesses, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate across internal teams and provide strategic advice to executive leadership.
Identify and secure partnerships to support and deliver on tourism and economic development objectives.
Prepare, deliver and report on action-oriented strategies and plans that align with corporate, state and national priorities.
Oversee procurement, contract and project management activities aligned with tourism initiatives.

You are a creative, strategic thinker with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and translate bold ideas into tangible outcomes. You’re a connector, a communicator, and a doer.
You’ll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Tourism Management , Marketing , Communications , Economic Development , Project Management or similar.
Substantial experience in destination marketing , tourism development , economic development , or project management .
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement , consultation and facilitation across diverse communities and sectors.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess economic, social and market trends.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation delivery.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A current C Class Driver’s Licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.

Desirable:
Experience working within Local or State Government environments will be highly regarded!!Why Join?
