ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results will be considered.Total remuneration value of up to $603,602 p.a. (L27) is comprised of:
- An annual rate between $182,106 - $266,677 p.a. (L18 – L27)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
- Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
- Motor Vehicle Allowance
- Over-time and on-call allowances
- Emergency Department Speciality Allowance
- Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (Granted Private Practice arrangements)

Emergency Department is a regional adult and paediatric mix ED with an annual attendance of 50,000 presentation which 25% are paediatric. This 305-bed referral centre in Central Queensland provides specialised services, including Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Cardiology, Oncology, Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Surgery, and Psychiatry. It also boasts a Cancer Care Unit equipped with advanced technology, serving both local patients and those from visiting tertiary hospitals.The Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and registered as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine with AHPRA.
- ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results will be considered.
