The Junior Dealer will work closely with the Dealer to facilitate efficient execution of trades across global equity markets. The role will also involve liaising with Munro’s internal Operations and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to mandates and timely settlement of trades, while contributing to the enhancement of Munro’s trade reporting capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Trade Execution
- Execute trades on various global exchanges across multiple asset markets in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in managing the end-to-end order management process, including order entry, routing, and allocation.
- Liaise with counterparties on execution issues or queries.
- Manage cashflows into and out of Munro’s funds to ensure portfolio exposures are consistent with portfolio managers’ expectations and mandate constraints.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of trades, including confirmations, settlement instructions, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain proper documentation of trade-related activities, communications, and any exceptions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Monitor and evaluate trading performance, including execution quality, slippage, and transaction costs.
- Maintain Munro’s trade execution database and enhance trading data analysis and reporting outputs.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and procedures.
- 3+ years’ experience in a trading or operations role, preferably within an institutional funds management firm.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Strong understanding of global equity markets, market structure, and trading practices.
- Proficiency in using trading platforms, order management systems, and other trading tools (ideally Bloomberg).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, brokers, and other stakeholders.
