They are looking for an Workshop CNC Profile Cutting Machine Operator to join their Mt Thorley Workshop.This is a TEMP - PERM placement (3 months TEMP then PERM)$49.26ph - 38 hr week plus OTJob Description: We are seeking the services of an experienced CNC Profile Cutting Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role revolve around all aspects of CNC Plasma Profile cutting, with a focus on operating the PCS 3000 HD Profile cutting machine.Key Duties:
Operation of PCS 3000 HD Profile cutting machine.
Programming, nesting, optimizing, and scheduling cutting programs using CAD/CAM (Pro Nest 2021) software for both internal production and external customer orders.
Maintaining tight stock control and plate records.
Identifying upcoming material requirements and optimizing production efficiency.
Required Skills and Experiences:
CAD Experience, capable of drawing from hand sketches and PDF drawings.
Experience in nesting packages, familiarity with Primecut will be highly advantageous.
Operational knowledge of the PCS 3000 HD Profile cutting machine (highly desirable).
Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Outstanding communication skills.
Forklift ticket preferred but not essential.
Pro-active team player with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
High regard for Safety.
