We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Clarence ValleyYou will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:
Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
Providing support with hygiene and personal care
Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
What shifts are we offering?Monday 830AM - 330 PM7 hrs. weekdays3 hrs. weekendsShifts will be allocated based on rostering needsTo be successful in this role you will have:
A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
Kind, caring, good energy, community minded.
Quick learner ability to absorb information.
