- Ensure food safety and hygiene: Adhere to food safety protocols to ensure meals are prepared and served safely.
- Support menu planning: Collaborate with the team to create seasonal menus that align with the nutritional requirements and tastes of our residents.
- Manage kitchen operations: Oversee food storage, inventory management, and meal preparation processes to keep everything running smoothly.
- Create a positive environment: Contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere that ensures meals are a highlight of the day for our residents.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or a similar qualification (essential).
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- 2024/2025 Influenza Vaccine Record.
- Australian Police Check (or willingness to undergo one).
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to get one).
- Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorships offered).
