In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for inspecting bricks, identifying and removing defective products, and operating multiple machines. You'll also play a key part in maintaining quality standards and supporting a safe, clean work environment.The team will provide all onsite training and upskilling to continue support your progression within the companyKey Responsibilities:
  • Inspect bricks for defects and sort accordingly.
  • Remove second-class products and place them in the designated carousel.
  • Operate machinery and perform routine fault-finding and quality control checks.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, machinery issues, or near misses.
  • Always wear and maintain proper PPE.
  • Check machine guards and mobile equipment before use.
  • Follow safety procedures including lock out/tag out and confined space protocols.
  • Maintain a clean work area and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Report colour variations to the leading hand.
  • Support team members by covering breaks and assisting during breakdowns.
  • Perform other tasks as directed, within your skill level.
Working Hours:
Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with casual overtime available on some Saturdays. Flexibility to work additional hours as required by the business is appreciated.What You Bring to the Role:
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Previous experience in a production or similar environment (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
  • A current forklift licence is a plus.
