- Be a critical senior consultant for your client, spanning Media Negotiations, Implementation Planning and Activation
- Regularly meet with vendors and partners to drive your client's agenda and future growth
- Provide strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry and competitors
- Ensure value from strategic local partnerships and global JBPs are maximized
- Pivotal role in building the agency's reputation for outstanding client service
- Foster a culture of innovative thinking and creativity to develop omni-channel media solutions that raise the bar for Amazon, the agency and industry
- Ensuring all client KPIs and contractual commitments spanning Media Negotiation, Implementation Planning and Activation are delivered consistently.
- Collaborate closely with internal product teams including WPP Media proprietary product and service teams to ensure you can clearly articulate the benefits of their solutions
- Support OpenDoor craft leaders in identifying and implementing tools, technology, data, and automation solutions through the organisation, and then ensuring maximum adoption of best practice.
- Contribute to global operational excellence requirements, including data governance, reporting and campaign launch management
- Utilize WPP Open and other cutting-edge tools to demonstrate confident knowledge of media planning principles (e.g. scheduling, flighting, recency, effective reach theories, seasonality, market prioritisation, roles of channel)
- Encourage a high-performance culture rooted in curiosity, accountability, and collaboration for the OpenDoor Implementation & Activation team
- Motivate and empower team to achieve individual, team and organisational goals.
- Conduct fortnightly 1:1 check-ins, annual Career Conversations and Annual Performance Reviews with direct reports.
- Liaise with the People Team to resolve any team disputes to ensure a safe and productive team environment.
- Continuously champion company values to build strong and trusted connections, solution-oriented perspectives and demonstrate that you genuinely care for collective team success.
- Foster agency-wide knowledge sharing, and continuous learning around point of views, trends, and relevant skills to continue nurturing a high-performing agency.
- Identify, collate and showcase examples of great work from within the team, both internally and externally.
- Build the agency's reputation by contributing to entries for awards and competitions and by contributing to industry thought leadership.
- Be an agency spokesperson on industry subjects with a strong, high profile and positive reputation in the market.
- Proven capability leading a large, diverse team
- Great communicator with clear written and verbal communication skills

- Strong, up to date, media landscape knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the patience to examine detail and create solutions
- First class negotiation skills
- Experience within Retail, Entertainment and/or Technology
- Passion for narrative writing and persuasive arguments
