With a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, we're committed to strengthening emergency preparedness and supporting continuity of care and operations in any circumstance.About the RoleReady to make a real impact on organisational safety and resilience?We're looking for an experienced and passionate Emergency Management Trainer to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs that strengthen emergency preparedness, response, and recovery across our organisation.In this role, you will be instrumental in building capability through engaging training sessions, practical exercises, and expert guidance - ensuring our people are equipped to act when it matters most.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver effective emergency management training programs and drills
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate exercises to build organisational readiness
Provide expert guidance to staff, volunteers, and stakeholders on emergency procedures and compliance
Collaborate with departments, sites, and senior leaders to ensure relevant, tailored training
Mentor and support internal emergency response teams
Maintain accurate training records and report on compliance
Identify capability gaps and recommend targeted improvements
Regularly update training content to reflect legislative changes, lessons learned, and evolving risks
Foster a strong organisational culture of safety, awareness, and preparedness
Conduct emergency management risk assessments as required
About YouYou are a confident and knowledgeable professional with a passion for building emergency preparedness and resilience. Your strong communication skills, practical training expertise, and proactive approach make you a trusted advisor in emergency management.You will also have
Solid knowledge of emergency management principles, compliance requirements, and best practices
Experience designing and delivering engaging, practical training programs
The ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels, including senior leaders
A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills
Excellent communication, mentoring, and relationship-building abilities
