Design & Build are partnered with a highly respected mechanical services contractor that delivers end-to-end HVAC and building services solutions across commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. Known for their design & construct capability and collaborative approach, they are continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work and are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.What your day looks like:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects up to $20m.
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to scope project requirements.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Collaborate with the design and project delivery teams on D&C projects.
Contribute to bid submissions, proposals, and handovers to project teams.
About you:
Around 5 years’ estimating experience within the Australian HVAC/mechanical industry.
Proven background working on design & construct (D&C) projects.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
Strong technical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
