Storeperson/Driver

• Be accountable for the end to end control of Cubic Assets
• Assist and support inventory management processes, work instructions and standard operational procedures in accordance with the company’s quality system to ensure compliance
• Ensure all equipment is properly handled
• Deliver and pick up customer equipment returns and other items as directed using a company or other such vehicle provided by Cubic
• Escalate any issues in the day-to-day operations for resolution
• Maintain a sound knowledge of WH&S and take an active part in safety issues as required, particularly in areas of manual handling

• Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
• Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
• Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organizations
• Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
• Other duties as requested

• New South Wales Class C driver’s license

• Qualifications or certification in warehouse operations

• Relevant experience within a stores/warehouse environment
• Loading, transporting and delivering items in a safe, timely manner
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Strong time management and customer service skills

• Practical experience and understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures

• Excellent customer service, communication skills and an ability to develop working relationships with customers
• Strong verbal and communication skills and an ability to escalate issues to resolution
• Attention to detail and willingness to listen to feedback
• Ability to use initiative and work with limited direction
• Able to adapt quickly to demands and environment
• Demonstrated understanding of manual handling requirements
• Team player and energetic
• Motivated to implement and promote positive occupational health, safety and environment outcomes
