This newly created role offers the chance to step into a true business partner position. Working closely with the Executive team, the Legal Counsel will provide commercial legal advice across contracts, leasing, employment, governance, and M&A. It's a hands-on role with scope to shape the legal function, reduce reliance on external firms, and take ownership without being siloed.Duties
- Review, draft, and negotiate supplier and customer contracts
- Provide legal input on leasing and property arrangements
- Advise on employment matters and risk issues
- Support governance and compliance frameworks
- Contribute to Board reporting and due diligence processes
- Australian legal practising certificate
- In-house or private practice legal experience
- Expertise in contracts and property leasing
- Able to work independently with senior stakeholders
