What YOU do matters!Do YOU have a flair for Aged Care? If so, join our Residential Services team at in Traralgon as Grade 2 or Grade 3 Registered Nurse assigned on AM shifts. You’ll be part of a diverse, engaging and collaborative culture that is guided by our values of respect, responsibility, community and spirit.As a passionate Grade 2 or Grade 3 Registered Nurse (RN), your ‘typical day’ will have you:

Providing excellent, person-centred resident care in relation to specialised nursing needs (i.e. management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications)
Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve the best resident outcomes
Undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required
Providing other employees on shift with clear direction and guidance

To thrive in this role, you will have:

A current AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse (Division 1) qualification
A collaborative approach and high level of accountability
An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect
