  • $102,286.02 - $109,044.83 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
  • Full time position based at our Principal Depot in Charlton.
  • This is a Fixed Term position for two years from date of commencement.

About You - Deliver excellence in infrastructure for your communityWe are in search of an exceptionally talented, innovative and motivated team player capable of seamlessly managing the delivery of a portfolio of multiple complex and interesting community infrastructure projects in our open space network. This position is situated within the larger Parks Strategy team, which is comprised of a diverse range of skilled professionals.You will have a strong track record in delivering infrastructure, preferably recreation infrastructure, and ideally have done this in the Local Government context. Your background should include a robust record of applying project management principles, tools and techniques to successfully deliver projects, as well as experience in contract and procurement management. Your extensive professional knowledge will play a pivotal role in enhancing our branch project delivery practices and leading excellence in project management to influence the way we deliver our capital program. Moreover, you will possess outstanding communication skills, good negotiation skills and the ability to problem-solve.About Parks & RecreationThe Parks & Recreation Team are the secret behind the Toowoomba Region’s beautiful parks and gardens. With over 7000 hectares of public gardens, bushland park, sports and recreation facilities and other open space and an extensive urban forest, the Toowoomba region is well known for its liveability and green infrastructure. The Parks and Recreation Services Branch is responsible for planning, developing and maintaining our beautiful green infrastructure, some of which is heritage listed, and keeping up with the strong growth across the region.
