This is a critical role where you will draw on your deep expertise of systems engineering and interface management relating to railway stations.In this role, you will:

Lead and manage station interface management activities such as lead Interface Working Groups between Stations Packages and Line Wide Package and manage interface issues resolution.
Provide recommendations in case the solution has impacts on time or contracts.
Address interface challenges and assess the criticality of unresolved issues.
Advise solutions to the Client on how to balance and/or resolve issues which are technical, commercial and program in nature.
Develop and implement the Interface Management Plan for the project.
Establish robust processes for interface communication, meeting management, and reporting with for the project, the client, consortium, third parties, and other relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with broader Project team and influence outcomes to achieve best project outcomes.

QualificationsIdeally, you will have 10+ years of experience in a similar role in professional services industry and/or engineering consultancy. In addition to this, you will also have:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field
CPENG highly desirable
Proven expertise and knowledge of Power-Low voltage systems
Proven expertise and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic (MEP) systems and their interfaces
Demonstrated knowledge of Australian railway standards and guidelines and ability to adhere to industry best practices
Experience in interface management processes
Experience of life safety in railway stations and interfaces with stakeholders
Excellent client management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve desired business outcomes
Highly developed organisational and prioritisation skills
Confident negotiation skills
Meet requirements for rail industry site work (Rail Industry Workers Card, OH&S card etc).
