You will be joining an established not-for-profit organisation with over 90 years' experience dedicated to providing free, short-term early intervention therapy services to children aged 0 -13 and their families in rural and remote Queensland. Using a multidisciplinary, child-focused and family-centred approach you will help children reach their full potential no matter where they live.Position Description:
This is an ideal position for a new graduate Occupational Therapist who wants to grow their clinical confidence while making a meaningful impact in a regional setting. As part of the Brighter Futures New Graduate Program, you will benefit from structured, supportive development opportunities designed specifically for early-career clinicians. Your role will involve delivering therapy and supports for children fostering a holistic approach to their growth, development and overall wellbeing and may include children with a developmental delay or disability. You will be supported through:Weekly clinical supervisionRegular line management and professional coachingInformal near-peer mentoringClinical shadowing and observation opportunitiesMonthly learning modules focused on key clinical competenciesGroup supervision, clinical tutorials, and reflection sessionsYou will deliver services through a combination of face-to-face, telepractice, and outreach delivery models, supporting children and families in your region. You will also engage in family-centred practice, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for rural communities.
