Spring Plains, NSWOur client is a family run dryland cropping farm 50kms north of Wee Waa, NSW. Harvesting in a small crew approximately 2500ha of wheat, barley, faba beans and chick peas.Positions
1 x Chaser Bin Driver
1 x Harvest CookDuties may include:
- Operation of a John Deere 8310 and 30t Coolamon chaser bin for harvest from October to late November
- Adherence to health & safety protocols and procedures
- Morning pre-start servicing
- Harvest cook to provide and cook meals for a small team of approx. 6-8ppl. Some general household cleaning and tidying. Occassional drive to town for groceries and parts. And assist with paddock moves, pilot vehicle driving etc.
- Previous harvest and chaser bin operating experience
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Maturity, common sense and good communication skills
- Ability to take instruction and gel within a small team
$35p/h negotiable with meals, and basic on farm accommodation is available in the old homestead. However, a caravan is probably preferable, and could be parked on site and water and power can be hooked up.Start date expected to be October 15th. Harvest likely to be 4-6weeks.Suitable positions for grey nomad couple but all applications will be considered.Applications
