We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experience to every Business Unit across Coles Supermarkets and Liquor.About the roleAs a Category Manager, you will have full accountability of the P&L and will develop a category strategy to implement across our stores. This is a role that requires a strong commercial acumen and innovative mindset.Utilising your strategic skills, you will identify growth opportunities within your category and partner with suppliers to determine range and pricing structure, ensuring we provide the best options for our customers.You'll also:

Drive results and performance of your category
Work cross-functionally across Marketing, Operations, Transformation and Strategy
Execute our customer-centric strategy for your category
Drive innovation within the category, working closely with the broader Coles Health, Beauty & Baby team
Build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, using your negotiation and influencing skills to drive the direction of the category

About you and your skillsIn this role you will be able to utilise your experience in understanding market share gaps and helping to develop and implement a market leading plan across this portfolio. Well-developed stakeholder management skills will be key to the success of this role.You'll also have:

Demonstrated Category Management experience within a retail environment
Outstanding influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Creative style with the ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven retail environment
Proven ability to champion and drive change
Strong financial acumen within a highly commercial environment
