
Industrial/Vehicle Painter

- Preparation, painting and quality checking of Rheinmetall vehicles and components following all relevant standards, work instructions and drawings;
- Undertake a wide range of paint preparation duties including grit blasting, sanding and masking;
- Maintain the Paint workshops, tools, and its equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements;
- Complete work documents and systems during and upon completion of work including in the SAP ERP; and
- Fulfil other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your team leader from time to time.
- Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology;
- Experience in a Vehicle, Defence, or other heavy industry Painting role;
- Working knowledge of Paint technologies and standards relating to vehicle painting;
- Heavy Vehicle driving and operating licences (desirable);
- High Risk Work Licences including crane operation, forklift, elevated work platforms (desirable); and
- The ability to gain and hold the appropriate Australian Security Clearance (must be an Australian citizen).
