Experience the rewards of making a difference in someone’s life by showing them compassion and care.We currently have vacancies for Register Nurse Team Leaders at Centennial Lodge in Wantirna South.As a Registered Nurse Team Leader you will you possess strong clinical and business acumen with ability to demonstrate initiative for innovative solution focused outcomes.On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

Supervision of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants
Oversee clinical care in collaboration with clinical support staff
Consult with families, allied health and medical personnel
Provision of appropriate and timely documentation that meets regulatory requirements
Identify high risks and ensure care is of best practice, report all clinical issues
Complete and supervise documentation of assessments, care plans care evaluation

Qualifications & Skills

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Recent experience within the Aged Care Industry (desirable)
Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents
Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, care plans
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and accreditation requirements.
