This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to oversee a range of projects from inception to fruition. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a profound dedication to enhancing civil engineering practices, possess outstanding leadership abilities, and exhibit a keen interest in contributing to the infrastructural development of the Warrnambool region.Key Responsibilities:Lead comprehensive planning, execution, and successful completion of both subdivision and road development projects.
Plan and design construction projects, conduct site analysis, read plans efficiently, estimate costs, oversee construction, draft works programs, implement quality control, ensure environmental compliance, and maintain project documentation.
Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
Provide inspirational leadership to project teams, cultivating a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost constraints.
Employ innovative problem-solving techniques to navigate project challenges.
Maintain transparent communication with senior management regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.About You:Demonstrated experience in civil construction, with specific expertise in subdivisions and road development projects.
Exceptional leadership capabilities and team management skills.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Proven track record of successful project management in civil engineering.
A preference for hands-on experience and competency in the field over formal qualifications.
