The CompanyOur client is a global brand which exports to 130 countries and has served the tyre industry for more than 70 years. They are committed to producing and developing quality tyres for the passenger, SUV and light commercial truck market with a product range that offers both value and performance.The RoleHaving recently invested a significant amount of resources to establish the brand as a stand-alone importer in Australia, the company is now seeking to recruit a Sales Representative / Area Sales Manager - QLD to focus on establishing the brand in the regional / rural areas surrounding Brisbane, in a business development and end to end account management role.In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate that you are a customer focused, driven sales professional who is able to manage a portfolio of varied accounts with independent tyre retailers and local wholesalers. The successful candidate will possess superior customer/account relationship skills and truly understand how to forge strong and genuine relationships whilst being part of a results-focused team who is passionate about performance.Responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying opportunities to establish new clients
  • Seeking opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts
  • Product presentations, sales planning, territory management, competitor analysis & reporting
To achieve success in this role, you will have the following background/skills:
  • Tyre industry experience with preference given to those with Passenger vehicle experience
  • Strong sales/account management expertise with drive & desire for results! (you may currently be in an Account Manager role OR a successful sales operator at store/retail level within the tyre industry, desiring change!)
  • Highly energetic, organised & passionate about delivering customer service
  • A confident communicator, skilled negotiator with the ability to quickly build sustainable relationships & influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Be a self-starter, able to work autonomously with IT proficiency in MS Excel, Word & CRM
  • Proven success in selling within the rural / regional / provincial areas of QLD.
