
Senior Cost Planner

- Coordinate with the project team to deliver cost effective solutions.
- Monitor and control project costs and cost management issues both upstream with the principal/client and downstream with subcontractors and consultants.
- Coordinate with the project commercial team in preparing detailed cost plans, return briefs, project brief, and variation submissions.
- Prepare cost plans for head contract variations and similar claims.
- Maintain regular contact with major suppliers, subcontractors, government authorities, clients and industry consultants to achieve the company's objectives.
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or relevant experience.
- Prior experience in cost planning and cost management for multi-stage management contracts.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business, working effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with shifting work priorities to deliver results.
- Skilled in collaborative contracting and working closely with principals, stakeholders and audit quantity surveyors
