Located in the heart of the iconic Adelaide Central Market, we're proud to be the first Hotel Indigo in Australia-a boutique hotel designed for curious travellers and locals alike.With 145 design-led rooms, our vibrant Market & Meander restaurant, and the lively Merrymaker rooftop bar with sweeping views and cosmic cocktails, we're more than just a hotel-we're a hub of culture, food, and connection.The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We're looking for a Kitchen Steward to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens.A little taste of your day-to-day:Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes

What we need from you:

Passion for delivering great service
Previous experience in a busy Kitchen is preferable
Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling
The flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays
Must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
